Terms of service

The service

IB Reps provides interview practice questions, model answers, and a spaced-repetition study tool. It is study material. It does not guarantee any interview, job, or outcome, and it is not career, financial, or professional advice.

Your account

The iOS app requires an account. The website lets you study cards without one, but you need an account to save progress there. Give us a working email address, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and do not share an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 to use IB Reps. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian's permission. It is not directed at children under 13.

Price

All content is included at no charge for now. If that changes, these terms will be updated before anything is charged.

Content and ownership

The questions, answers, and software are ours. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell them, or build a competing product from them.

Notes and answers you write are yours. You give us the permission needed to store them and sync them to your devices, and nothing more.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, interfere with it, try to get around access controls, or reverse-engineer it. Do not use it for anything unlawful.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app or from Settings on the website. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is. We do not promise that it will always be available, or that every answer is complete, current, or free of mistakes. Interview questions and expected answers change; use your judgment.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and US$100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan. If you live somewhere whose consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights are not affected.

General

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and if a change matters we will say so in the app or by email. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
